What a heavy burden to carry, all these lies from Satan, which I had listened to, back then and even sometimes today, lies that I permitted to be bearers of a false truth. All my fears, anger,
UN forgiveness for myself as well as others, and the "conditional" love that I not only expected from others but even of myself, and all the control I thought I needed and tried so desperately to hold on too!
All these things became a burden to me, a burden too heavy to carry, a burden that made me weary, a place with no peace and no rest. These burdens were the yoke around my neck. A yoke only the Lord could set me free from. For His word says;
Matthew 11:28-30
"Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart: and You shall find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my load is light."
